Bridge at The Winchester Club

bridge.jpgWinchester Bridge Club meets at The Winchester Tennis and Squash Club on Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays at 7.00pm. Also on Sunday afternoons - see below.

Mondays are cut-in Rubber Bridge - friendly and low-key - turn up without a partner.

Tuesdays are Duplicate. We have a Hosting Rota so if you don't have a partner you are still guaranteed a game. EBU Master Points are awarded.

Wednesdays are partnership Rubber Bridge - come with your partner, or contact us if you would like us to find you one.

Beginners lessons are held on Monday evenings. It's not too late to start. Contact the club for more information.

We are EBU affiliated and Master Points are awarded for duplicate sessions.

Sunday Bridge

Normally every Sunday from 4:30pm till around 7:00pm. We play duplicate or rubber on alternate Sundays, depending on how many players come and what they want to do. The bridge is low key and relaxed. If you are a novice, this will give you an opportunity to practice and get used to Club bridge. If you've played bridge before but just feel rusty, this will help you get back into it.

This is open to all, Bridge members and non-members, experienced and novice.  No need to bring a partner, as we can match you up with someone, if required. 
 
Please try to support Sunday Bridge sessions, so that we can rely on a regular turnout and make it worthwhile.  Even if you can only attend for part of the session, your participation will be appreciated and the organiser will try his best to get you involved. It would be helpful, but not essential, if you could let us know if you intend to come.
